The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abeokuta South II State Constituency in the 2027 election, Hon. Ademuyiwa Adeyemi, has felicitated Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as “Yayi,” on his birthday, describing him as a distinguished parliamentarian and a leader committed to the development of Ogun State.
Adeyemi, in a birthday message issued to mark the occasion, commended Adeola’s contributions to public service, particularly his representation of Ogun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
According to him, Adeola’s years in public service have demonstrated “purposeful leadership, courage, commitment and an unwavering passion for development,” while his interventions have positively impacted communities across his senatorial district.
The APC candidate noted that Adeola’s contributions, in his view, extended beyond Ogun West, stressing that his interest in the development of the three senatorial districts reflected what he described as a broader vision of inclusive leadership for the state.
“Your efforts have continued to touch lives, strengthen communities, and contribute to the advancement of our dear state,” Adeyemi said.
He also expressed confidence in Adeola’s leadership capacity, experience and vision, particularly as he prepares to contest the 2027 Ogun State governorship election on the platform of the APC.
Adeyemi said he believed Adeola’s experience in public service would position him for greater responsibility and service to the people of Ogun State if elected governor.
“I am confident that your wealth of experience, leadership capacity, vision and proven commitment to development will position you for even greater service to the people of Ogun State,” he said.
While wishing the senator success in the forthcoming governorship election, Adeyemi prayed for greater wisdom, sound health, renewed strength and divine grace for Adeola as he continues his political career.
He further wished the senator a successful campaign and expressed the hope that his aspiration would receive the support of the people of Ogun State.
Adeyemi joined Adeola’s family, friends, political associates, supporters and well-wishers across the state and beyond in celebrating the senator, wishing him greater accomplishments and more opportunities to serve humanity.
He described Adeola as “a Senator par excellence and a leader of great promise” and concluded his message with prayers for the senator’s continued success in public service.
