The Chairman of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Ogun State Branch, Comrade (Lion) Ajiboye Olanrewaju Tunji has congratulated Comrade Aka Oluwafemi Sulaimon on his emergence as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), Ogun State Branch.
Ajiboye, in a congratulatory message made available to newsbarrelng in Abeokuta, described Sulaimon’s emergence as a well-deserved victory and a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by members of the association.
He noted that the outcome of the election was a divine act and a clear indication of the new PASAN chairman’s popularity, credibility and unwavering commitment to the welfare of parliamentary workers in Ogun state.
“Your emergence is not by chance. It is a divine course and a demonstration of the confidence and trust your colleagues have in your ability to lead. I congratulate you on this well-deserved victory and pray that God grants you the wisdom and strength to succeed,” Ajiboye said.
The JUSUN chairman expressed optimism that the new PASAN leadership would usher in a new era of industrial harmony, improved welfare packages and effective representation for parliamentary staff across Ogun State.
According to him, Comrade Aka has distinguished himself over the years as a dependable unionist who has consistently demonstrated courage, dedication and selfless service to the labour movement.
“I have no doubt that Comrade Aka Oluwafemi Sulaimon will prioritise the welfare of members, defend their rights, pursue better salaries and improved working conditions, and promote the collective interest of parliamentary workers with integrity and transparency,” he added.
Ajiboye further described the new PASAN chairman as a “comrade per excellence,” whose wealth of experience in union activities would be invaluable in steering the affairs of the association and strengthening the relationship between the leadership and members.
He urged the newly elected chairman to remain focused, accessible and accountable throughout his tenure, stressing that expectations from members were high.
“Leadership comes with enormous responsibility. I encourage you to remain committed to the ideals of fairness, justice and accountability. Your success will be measured by the positive impact your administration makes on the lives of parliamentary workers,” he said.
The JUSUN chairman also appealed to members of PASAN to close ranks behind the new leadership, urging them to offer maximum cooperation and support to enable the administration to fulfil its mandate.
“I appeal to every member of PASAN in Ogun State to support Comrade Aka and the newly elected executive. With unity, cooperation and mutual understanding, the association will achieve greater progress and deliver lasting benefits to all members,” Ajiboye stated.
He concluded by wishing the new PASAN chairman and his executive council a successful tenure, expressing confidence that their administration would leave behind a legacy of purposeful leadership, improved staff welfare and strengthened unionism in Ogun State.
