
The Chief Economic Adviser and Commissioner for Finance in Ogun State, Dapo Okubadejo, has dismissed reports linking him with a possible nomination as Deputy Governor, describing the claims as false and misleading.
In a statement, Okubadejo said he had neither been approached nor engaged in any form of consultation regarding the position, stressing that he has not expressed interest, either publicly or privately.
He reaffirmed his commitment to his current roles, noting that his priority remains supporting the Ogun State Government’s fiscal and economic reform agenda.
Okubadejo urged members of the public and the media to disregard the rumours and rely only on verified information from credible sources.
