Members of the 1991–1996 set of Ijebu Muslim College, under the aegis of the Ijebu Muslim College Old Students Association (IMCOSA), have concluded arrangements to celebrate 30 years of graduating from the institution, marking a significant milestone in their academic and social journey.
The President of the set, Alhaja Falilat Lawal Badmus, disclosed this while addressing members during a preparatory meeting, noting that the reunion is designed to rekindle old friendships, celebrate achievements, and give back to their alma mater.
According to her, the anniversary celebration will hold as part of the annual IMCOSA Day celebration scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the school field of Ijebu Muslim College in Ijebu Ode.
She stated that the event will feature a lineup of activities including a reunion gathering, award presentations, and developmental projects aimed at improving facilities at the college, adding that the set remains committed to contributing meaningfully to the growth of the institution.
Alhaja Badmus further explained that the celebration would be rounded off with a grand gala and award night, where distinguished members of the set would be recognised for their outstanding performances and contributions over the years.
She added that the set has recorded notable achievements across various professional fields, attributing their success to the solid educational foundation received at Ijebu Muslim College.
The president called on all members of the 91/96 set, both at home and in the diaspora, to actively participate in the anniversary activities, which are expected to attract dignitaries, alumni, and well-wishers from within and beyond Ijebu Ode, as the set celebrates a legacy of unity, excellence, and service.
