Remo Federal Constituency By-Election :APC Inaugurates Campaign Council Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its Campaign Council and Committee for the by-election into the House of Representatives for Remo Federal Constituency, scheduled for August 16, 2025.

The seat became vacant following the death of Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, who represented the Constituency made up of Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu Local Governments.

Speaking at the inauguration held at the Multipurpose Hall, Akarigbo Palace, Sagamu, the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, emphasized the need for unity among the party faithful to ensure that the party’s candidate, Hon. Adesola Elegbeji, emerges victorious.

Members of the Campaign Advisory Council are: Chief Yemi Sanusi (Chairman), Senator Lekan Mustapha (Vice Chairman), Hon. Yemi Adelani (DG), Hon. Ola Oresanya (DDG), Rt. Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, Femi Ogunbanwo, Adegbesan Joseph, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, Chief Derin Adebiyi, Chief Pegba Otemolu, Mr. Dapo Okubadejo, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, Hon. Funmi Efuwape, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi, Bolu Owotomo, Chief Jide Ojuko and Hon. Biyi Adeleye.

Others are Hon. Wole Sowole, Hon. Sikirulah Ogundele, Hon. Akinlade Abubakar, Evan.Joshua Ifede, Hon. Koye Ijaduoye, Hon. Babatunde Diya, Folusho Badejo, Oluwadare Kehinde, Shina Ogunsola, Lanre Oyegbola and Wasiu Lawal.

Members of the Campaign Committee are Hon. Abdul Bashir, Alhaji Shamsideen Apelogun, Hon. Toyin Jekami, Arole Azeez Bello, Hon. Nurudeed Adewale, Oyeleke Oluwole, Gbenga Banwo, Muyiwa Oladipo, Chief Laide Okunola, Mrs Yetunde Akinluyi, Alhaji Alowonle Nurudeen, Abeeb Ajetunmobi, Ayodele Adepeju, Modinat Lawal, Azeez Ismaila, Oyedele Oluwole, Alaba Lawal, Femi Akinwunmi, Alhaji Olayinka Banjo, Sakiru Folarin, Barrister Adeleke Solarin, Kayode Segun-Okeowo and Abdul Oladimeji Ikutaati.

Others are Tola Olutayo, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, Olayinka Odufuwa, Mojeed Soyombo, Femi Ogundalu, Ademola Adeniran, Tade Kashimowo, Kola Onalaja, Jamiu Ashimi, Efuwape Olaitan, Wale Oyekoya, Olakunle Sobukola, Yeye Yetunde Lawal, Segun Ogunleye, Isiaka Ojuroye, Kola Odusanya, Erinfolami Rotimi, Bilikisu Oseni, Dr Ibidapo Odukoya, Lolade Okulowo, Yemisi Dawodu, Olabisi Adesina, Sodade Olumuyiwa, Barrister Akeem Asiru, Taiwo Jokosimi, Sobambo Ladejobi.

There are also Femi Onajoko, Lanre Daramola, Olumide Soyami, Joseph Kolapo Osobuke, Tope Sotikare, Moji Oyefeso, Yusuf Soyemi, Ladi Odujirin, Yemi Sobambo, Sorinola Rasheed, Motunrayo Olawore, Tayo Sowole, Moremi Soyinka, Adenowo Emmanuel, Rukayat Sonubi, Ramoni Sonuga, Alhaja Fausat Adeyiga, Olalekan Akinola and Mrs. Sherifat Asetoye.
