Remo Federal Constituency By-Election : Ogun NUJ To Engage Candidates

The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will host a special engagement series with candidates contesting the upcoming by-election for the Remo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

The statement signed by Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the Secretary Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council explained that the event is designed to provide a platform for open dialogue between the candidates and members of the public, as well as to promote issue-based campaigns ahead of the polls.

The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, 5th August 2025

Barrister Solomon Oluwasheyi-Oso
Candidate, African Democratic Congress (ADC)

Wednesday, 6th August 2025

Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole
Candidate, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Thursday, 7th August 2025

Princess Adesola Elegbeji
Candidate, All Progressives Congress (APC)

Venue: Olusegun Osoba Hall, Iwe Iroyin House, Okelewo, Abeokuta

Time: 4:00 PM daily

Their participation is to enrich public understanding and contribute meaningfully to issue – based campaigning during this critical electoral period
