The State Administrative Council (SAC) of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Ogun State Council, led by Comrade (Lion) Ajiboye Olanrewaju Tunji has celebrated the Hon. Chief Judge of Ogun State, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu FICMC, FHNR as she was conferred with the well-deserved honour of a Life Bencher by the Body of Benchers’ on Wednesday, 5th March 2024, heldin Abuja.
In a statement by State Chairman of Jusun, Comrade (Lion) Ajiboye Olanrewaju Tunji on behalf of the SAC congratulated the Ogun chief judge describing the new feather which is the highest honour in the legal profession as well deserved because the chief judge has achieved many feats in improving the administration of justice in Ogun State Judiciary system.
“This prestigious recognition is a testament to her outstanding contributions to the judiciary and her exemplary leadership as the Chief Judge of Ogun State. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu has demonstrated unwavering commitment to upholding justice and promoting the rule of law”
He emphasized that since Hon. Justice Dipeolu took over the mantle of leadership as the chief judge of Ogun State, she has embarked on several transformative initiatives which has continued to enhance quick and prompt justice system as she is also known for prioritizing the welfare of Judiciary Staff including Bar and bench.
He however prayed to God to continue to empower the Hon. Chief judge to deliver on the mandate giving to him in accordance with the constitution of Nigeria.
The prestigious ceremony in Abuja had distinguished legal practitioners conferred with the rank of Life Bencher, the highest honor in the legal profession.
The event, held at the Body of Benchers’ headquarters, was presided over by its chairman, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN
The ceremony hosted an array of esteemed guests, including former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Alfa Belgore, and former President of the Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Umaru Abdullahi. Also in attendance were prominent legal figures such as Mrs. Gloria Umoren, SAN, and Chief Solomon Umoh, SAN. Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, joined several distinguished Life Benchers and Benchers at the event.
