The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has celebrated Mrs. Funmilayo Opatola as she marks her 60th birthday and her retirement from the largest television network, NTA.
In a statement signed by the council secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigundescribed Opatola as journalist of great repute and great member of Ogun NUJ.
“A journalist of no mean feat, Mrs. Opatola began her illustrious career early and has made significant contributions to the field of journalism.
“Her dedication and passion have inspired many, and her legacy will continue to influence aspiring journalists for years to come.
