The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ NTA Chapel in Ogun State heartily felicitates former NAWOJ Chairperson in the State Funmilayo Opatola who clocks the diamond age of 60 on Saturday January 25,2025 and meritoriously bow out of Civil Service.
Funmi Opatola retired as an Assistant Director News and the Officer In Charge of NTA Imeko in Ogun West Senatorial District.
The Chapel in a statement by the Chairman Comrade Yemmy Dalemo and Secretary Luqman Adefeso on behalf of the chapel congratulate the Assistant Director News Funmi Opatola on the Grace and Mercy of God received during her career as a young reporter in NTA Abeokuta in 1994 and later rose to become a household name with her sonorous voice on the News in Yoruba language-Iroyin, the work she delivered well with all dedication and commitment.
The chapel described Funmi Opatola as fondly called as a woman of substance, virtue and faith, a wonderful mother and a big sister to all who came across her.
While wishing her a happy sixtieth birthday anniversary in the land of the living hale and hearty NUJ NTA Chapel congratulate her on her successful career having reach the peak of her profession by the special grace of God Almighty.
They described her as loving, kindhearted woman committed to mentoring the youths and putting them on the right path of life with prayers of success for everyone that passed through her mentorship.
