Glitz and Glamour as Veemen Elites Club Celebrates 8th End of the year party.

In their unique way of doing things, members of one Nigeria’s leading social clubs, Veemen Elite Club, last Sunday, 15th December,2024 celebrated its 8th edition of the end-of-year party in grand style, where families and friends of the club among notable dignitaries converged on the club secretariat for merry making .

The annual celebration as always becomes the talk of town and a veritable platform for the wives and children of the club members both home and in Diaspora come together to socialise, provided an opportunity for members to reflect on the club’s achievements over the years while strengthening the bond among members and supporters.

In his opening remarks, the President, Veeman Kolawole Idowu, highlighted the significance of the event, noting that this was the eighth edition of the end-of-year party.

He expressed his gratitude to the Veewomen for their enduring support and playing vital roles which has continued to take the club to am enviable height.

The president however Commended several supports that the club has received in the year 2024 not only from club members but also from those who cherished the club for what it stands for, as he assured that the club will keep the flag flying.

The President used the occasion to charge members to continue the good work and remain united praying that God will continue to bless them.

“We are having our eighth edition of our end-of-year party, and I appreciate all Veewomen here for their support,” Veeman Kolawole Idowu stated, reinforcing the club’s commitment in recognizing the vital role played by the spouses of its members”.

In his address, the chairman,Board of trustee, and the club’s Pioneer President , Veemen Olateju Aliu popularly known as Afreekar , a consummate entrepreneur of note , expressed appreciation to everyone who graced the occasion. Including the club Patron, Mr Alabi Who is the CEO of Royal gate petroleum, Barrister Segun Ajibola (SAN), Mr. Orepekan, a friend in the diaspora, and Architect Kuti Oluwatoyin, for their unwavering supports and contributions, towards the club and empowering the club to carry out some social services and also giving to the less privileged.

He lauded the efforts of the current president, Veeman Kolawole Idowu, for his proactive leadership and commitment to make the event a success.

“We want to appreciate everyone that graced this occasion today. I would like to especially thank my president, Veeman Kolawole Idowu, for being proactive in putting this together.”

He also commended active and financially committed members of the club, emphasizing that true membership goes beyond mere affiliation.

“Being a member alone is not what we are talking about, but being an active and financially committed member is what makes you a Veeman.”

Veeman Olateju also appreciated the Veewomen — the wives of Veemen members — acknowledging their role in supporting the activities of their spouses.

“To our wives, the Veewomen, you have been making it possible for us to be Veemen. We appreciate you.”

Veemen Olateju extended heartfelt gratitude to the club’s patron, Mr. Femi Alabi, for his generous financial support of the event.

The night was filled with music, food, and networking as members, patrons, and friends shared joyful moments together.
