The Senior Special Adviser to the Ogun state Governor,Prince Dapo Abiodun on Special Duties and SDGs, Hon. Damilola Otubanjo has demonstrated her commitment to community service through her foundation, “Milolar Foundation” as she put smiles on the faces of members of her Constituents.
The event which was held in Ibiade, the home town of the honourable on Saturday October 12, 2024 featured several empowerment programmes for women from all walks of life and Fuel Vouchers for commercial motorcyclists to alleviate the current economic hardship ravaging the country.
While addressing the constituents, party leaders and stakeholders from and outside the local government area, Hon Damilola stated that the initiative was part of her broader efforts to prioritize the well-being of her constituents and address the economic challenges they face.
Emphasizing the role of women in business , the SSA maintained that whatever supports or empowerments rendered to women as traders will have positive impacts on their households.
Hon. Damilola explained that the empowerment which covered 30,000 naira each for the women in attendance and Fuel vouchers for 150 commercial motorcycle riders and free reflective jackets were parts of her own personal support for the people as she promised to touch all the wards across the Ogun Waterside Local Government.
She also assured that the Dapo Abiodun led administration is committed to ensure that residents of the state are provided with various opportunities to alleviate their suffering.
While canvassing for more supports for the state and federal government, Honourable Damilola restated her commitment to selfless service especially through her Milolar Foundation.
Top dignitaries, including Hon. Akeem Balogun (former Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly), Hon. Musa Maruf, Hon. Tunde Rufai, Alhaji Ganiyu Odunoiki, Alhaja Olabode Ogunlana, Mr. Onaniyi Nurudeen, and Prince Okuwoga Adeyinka, attended the event, where the showered encomium on Hon. Otubanjo for her philanthropic efforts.
