APC chairmanship aspirant in the forthcoming local government elections, Hon. Kayode Obipehin, popularly known as Kaymoni, has emphasized the crucial role of youth in building a sustainable and equitable future.
Speaking at a youth summit organized by the Ijebu Youth Association in Ijebu Ode, Kaymoni noted that young people possess the energy, creativity, and idealism needed to drive positive change in the community.
He urged youths to take an active role in shaping their future and promised to prioritize their welfare and empowerment if elected.
He said; “Youth are the backbone of our community, and their contributions are vital to building a sustainable future.
“As a youth advocate, I will ensure that their voices are heard and their ideas are harnessed to create positive change.”
The aspirant also outlined his plans to support youth development, including initiatives in education, entrepreneurship, and skills training. He emphasized the need for inclusive governance and pledged to work closely with youths to address the challenges facing them.
The event was attended by youths from different local government areas in Ijebuland.
