…As Civil servants Celebrates Him

The Ogun State Governor; Prince Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that his administration would continue to build on the successes recorded by his administration in the last four years.

Governor Dapo Abiodun who made this known at the Governor’s office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta during a special welcome program organized by Ogun State civil servants for the Governor after his victory at the just concluded Ogun State Election Tribunal, promised that his administration would remain a promise keeping administration.

Governor Abiodun who also commended the state civil servants for their commitment, dedication, corporation and collaboration in the last four years of his administration, added that he wouldn’t have wished for a better civil service.

Abiodun while noting that his administration in the area of infrastructure development would continue to surpass every other state of the Federation, also said that his administration in the next few weeks would be announcing some packages for youths in the state.

” In the area of infrastructure, we will continue to surpass every other state, in the area of education, we will ensure that Ogun State occupies it’s pride of place in the comity of states, not just in Nigeria,West Africa or Africa, but the entire world.

” In the area of youth development and job creation, we will remain relentless and will soon be announcing some of the packages that we have for our youths in the coming weeks,” he said

The Governor also said that his administration would continue to work towards ensuring that the state remains the number one investment destination in the country.

The Governor while assuring that his administration would remain transparent, dedicated, inclusive, just, fair and equitable, assured that the best of his administration is yet to come.

Governor Abiodun who also noted that his administration would continue to remain laser focused, said that he hopes all adversaries would bury their hatchets, calm down and join hands with his administration in it’s quest to move the state forward.

Abiodun also appreciated the Judiciary for the role they played during the Election Tribunal, saying that he believes the diligent and transparent judgement has left no one in doubt.

” Yes, we worked very hard in the first four years of our tenure against all attempted distractions, we worked very hard on our reelection, we campaigned across the nook and cranny of the state and we won that election fair and square.

” But, others, mischievous others decided that that defeat was not enough for them, they had to go to court.

” Having failed to purchase that election, they had to go to court, I want to thank the Almighty God for yet again reaffirming our victory through the three man Ogun State Election Tribunal that delivered it’s eleven and half hour judgement on Saturday, the 30th of October.

” We thank the judiciary for standing for what is true and just, it was a diligent, meticulous and transparent judgement, leaving no one in doubt, except for those that want to continue to be mischievous,” he said.

Earlier in his remarks, the Ogun State Head of Service; Mr. Kola Peter Fagbohun while congratulating Governor Dapo Abiodun for his victory at the Election Tribunal, assured the Governor of the unalloyed support and commitment of civil servants in the state.
