Lawee Set to Illuminate Ogun Waterside with Solar Streetlight Project
Preparations have commenced for the installation of solar-powered streetlights across Ogun Waterside State Constituency as the lawmaker representing the area in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Lawal Samusideen Adekunle, popularly known as Lawee, moves to strengthen community infrastructure and improve public safety.
According to a statement by Lawee Media, the project is aimed at enhancing visibility at night, improving security, supporting commercial activities and creating a safer environment for residents across the constituency.
Materials and essential installation components are already being assembled ahead of the commencement of the installation exercise, signalling the take-off of another infrastructure initiative targeted at improving the living conditions of constituents.
The solar streetlight project is also expected to support commercial activities, particularly among traders and small-scale business owners whose operations often extend into the evening, while making roads and public spaces safer and more accessible.
The initiative underscores Lawee’s continued focus on grassroots development and the provision of infrastructure that directly addresses the needs of the people.
For residents of Ogun Waterside, the planned installation represents another step towards improving the quality of life in their communities through sustainable energy solutions, particularly in areas where conventional electricity supply may be inadequate.
With preparations already underway, expectations are building for the commencement of installation, which is expected to bring improved illumination and renewed vibrancy to communities across the constituency.
