The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) has announced that Engr. Olumayowa Idowu, FNSE, an award‑winning engineering professional and global advocate for youth leadership, will represent the Federation at the upcoming Global Dialogue of Young Leaders in Lima, Peru.
Scheduled to take place this week, the high‑level forum will convene presidents, chairs, and senior representatives of leading international youth and professional bodies.
Founder, Engineering of Impact (EOI), Engr. Idowu is expected to deliver an address at the International Roundtable of Presidents and Chairs of Young Professional Organisations, a strategic platform dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable global development.
Organised by the National Committee of Young Engineers and Future Leaders of Peru, in collaboration with Global Young Leaders, the event aims to strengthen international cooperation, amplify youth voices, and accelerate innovative solutions to global challenges.
His participation reflects WFEO’s mission to promote inclusive leadership and ensure that young professionals are equipped to contribute meaningfully to global development agendas.
The Roundtable will bring together emerging leaders from multiple continents to discuss shared priorities, including sustainable infrastructure, climate resilience, digital transformation, and equitable access to engineering opportunities.
