The outreach was organised in line with the Rotary International theme for the 2026–2027 Rotary year, *”Create Lasting Impact,”* reflecting the club’s dedication to improving the well-being of vulnerable members of society.

During the outreach, the Rotary Club of Iju Spring, District 9111, donated medical equipment and essential medical consumables to Ifako-Ijaiye General Hospital.

The club also presented mother-and-child care items and welfare packages to mothers who gave birth on July 1, 2026.

Demonstrating its long-term commitment to maternal and child welfare, the club pledged continuous support for the six babies born on the day of the outreach.

Several of the beneficiaries were mothers who underwent Caesarean Section (C&S) deliveries.

The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Rotary Club of Iju Spring, District 9111, for the timely intervention, describing the gesture as a great relief during one of the most important moments of their lives.

The hospital’s management and staff also received medical consumables and other essential items to support healthcare delivery.

Items donated during the outreach included towels, diapers, flasks, baby clothing, baby hangers, mosquito nets, baby wipes, detergents, baby carriers, and other essential baby care materials.

The club further assured the beneficiaries of sustained support for both mothers and their newborns beyond the outreach.
