
A prominent youth support group, Remo Big Boyz for Yayi, has felicitated its patron, Comrade Chief Lukman Adenekan, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a grassroots mobiliser, philanthropist and community leader whose contributions have positively impacted many lives across Remoland.
Chief Adenekan, the Bashorun of Ogere Remo and popularly known as “Number One,” was honoured during a surprise visit by members of the group to his residence, where gifts were presented in recognition of his support and leadership.
Speaking during the visit, the Coordinator of Remo Big Boyz for Yayi, Mr. Babasola Oladapo Charles, who is also the proprietor of Evergreen School, alongside the group’s Secretary, Mr. Sogunwa Moshood, popularly known as Mercury, joined by other prominent members of the group praised the celebrant’s commitment to community development and youth empowerment.

They described Chief Adenekan as a thoroughbred grassroots person and a man of the people whose generosity and dedication to the welfare of others have earned him widespread respect in Ogere and across Remoland.
According to the group, the celebrant has consistently supported progressive causes and played a significant role in advancing the objectives of the organisation.

The group, made up of progressive youths across Remoland, reiterated its commitment to mobilising support for the governorship ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Members commended Chief Adenekan for his unwavering support for both the group and Senator Adeola’s political aspiration, noting that his guidance and encouragement have strengthened their grassroots mobilisation efforts.
While offering prayers for the celebrant’s continued good health, long life and prosperity, the group also assured Senator Adeola of overwhelming electoral support from Remoland.
They stated that intensive grassroots engagement and mobilisation activities were already ongoing across Remoland and other parts of Ogun East Senatorial District, with the aim of securing massive support for the APC in the 2027 governorship election.
The group expressed confidence that its sustained mobilisation efforts would translate into substantial votes for Senator Adeola and the APC when the electorate heads to the polls.
