The City Boy Movement, Ogun State Chapter, has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate in Ogun State.

In a statement issued by the group, the movement described Adeola’s emergence as a reflection of his years of dedicated public service, impactful leadership, and steadfast commitment to the development of the state.

The group noted that the lawmaker’s track record in infrastructure development and his people-oriented style of governance distinguished him as a credible choice for the party’s ticket ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

According to the statement, Adeola’s strong grassroots appeal and consistent advocacy for socio-economic growth have continued to inspire confidence among residents across Ogun State.

“This milestone is a testament to your years of dedicated service, impactful leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of our dear state,” the statement read.

The City Boy Movement further expressed optimism that Adeola’s emergence would herald a new phase of progress and prosperity for the state, citing his experience and vision as key assets.

Reaffirming its support, the group pledged to stand firmly behind the APC candidate as he prepares for the forthcoming electoral contest.
