
The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, has felicitated with its Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Branch, Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, FNSE, the Society congratulated Muslim professionals for their discipline, sacrifice, and devotion throughout the fasting period. He noted that the values of patience, selflessness, and spiritual reflection demonstrated during Ramadan are qualities that resonate strongly with the ethics and responsibilities of the Engineering profession.
Engr. Idowu further urged Muslim Engineers and the entire engineering community to sustain the virtues of integrity, commitment, and service to humanity beyond the festive period. He emphasized the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective responsibility in advancing national development through Engineering innovation and excellence.
The NSE Abeokuta Branch also prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and progress in Ogun State and Nigeria at large, while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling Eid al-Fitr celebration.
