
Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Ogun West and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, calling for renewed commitment to peace, tolerance and national unity.
In a goodwill message marking the Eid-el-Fitri celebration, and signed by signed by The Yayi’s Media Adviser, High Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola commended Muslim faithful for their dedication to a month of fasting, prayer and spiritual reflection, expressing hope that their supplications would be answered by Almighty Allah.
He urged adherents to uphold the core values of Ramadan—self-discipline, love, justice and peaceful coexistence—in their daily interactions, stressing that such virtues are essential for building a harmonious society.
The lawmaker also appealed to Nigerians to remain hopeful and united as the country approaches another election cycle, expressing confidence in a secure and prosperous future under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Adeola further called for sustained prayers against insecurity across the nation, urging citizens to seek divine guidance for leaders in addressing persistent challenges, including violence and social unrest.
Reiterating that Islam promotes peace, compassion and respect for humanity, the senator encouraged Muslims to continue living by the righteous principles imbibed during Ramadan, noting that tolerance and mutual understanding are critical in addressing the country’s complex socio-economic issues.
