
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ipokia Local Government Branch in Ogun State, has honoured Architect Comrade Mawutin Imoleayo Deji with the Inclusive Youth Advocate Award in recognition of his contributions to youth development and community engagement.
The award was presented during a special Ramadan lecture held in Idiroko on Saturday.
Our correspondent reports that the event attracted youth leaders, community stakeholders and residents from different parts of the local government area.
The programme, organised as part of activities marking the holy month of Ramadan, also served as a platform to recognise individuals who have demonstrated commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
Presenting the award, the leadership of the NYCN Ipokia Branch said the recognition was in appreciation of Mawutin Imoleayo Deji’s consistent support for youth inclusion, leadership development and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of young people.
According to the council, the honour is intended to celebrate individuals whose efforts continue to inspire youths and encourage their active participation in community building.
The organisers further described the architect as a passionate advocate for youth engagement, noting that his contributions have positively impacted many young people across Ipokia Local Government Area.
