Honourable Olalekan Olatunde Jiboku is a public-spirited professional whose life journey reflects dedication to education, service, and community development. His background combines technical expertise, healthcare service, and humanitarian engagement, positioning him as a notable figure in Abeokuta South Constituency II.

Olalekan Jiboku began his formal education at Alaba Lawson School, where he completed his primary school education. His early years were marked by discipline and a strong foundation in learning, which shaped his academic pursuits.

For his secondary school education, he attended African Church Grammar School, an institution known for academic excellence and character development. There, he further developed leadership traits and a passion for service.

Driven by an interest in technology and innovation, Olalekan Jiboku proceeded to Lagos State Polytechnic, where he studied Computer Engineering and earned his National Diploma (ND). His time at the institution strengthened his analytical and problem-solving skills.

In pursuit of advanced technical knowledge, he enrolled at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering for his Higher National Diploma (HND). This academic phase further equipped him with practical and engineering competencies.

Recognising the importance of global exposure and continuous learning, Olalekan Jiboku later moved to the United Kingdom to further his education. His decision marked a turning point in his professional and academic journey.

While in the UK, he gained admission to Bucks New University, Uxbridge, London, where he studied Mental Health Nursing. This transition reflected his growing passion for healthcare and human wellbeing.

His training in mental health nursing exposed him to the complexities of psychological care, empathy-driven practice, and professional medical ethics, preparing him for a demanding yet impactful career.

Following the completion of his studies, Olalekan Jiboku became a Psychiatric Nurse working with the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) in London. His role places him at the forefront of mental healthcare delivery.

As a psychiatric nurse, he provides professional care and emotional support to individuals facing mental health challenges, contributing meaningfully to public health and community wellbeing.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Olalekan Jiboku stood out through his frontline service and community-focused efforts. He supported vulnerable individuals during one of the most challenging periods in modern history.

Beyond his professional duties, he demonstrated compassion through humanitarian services, ensuring that the needy were not forgotten during difficult times.

Through his foundation, Youthlift Advocacy Foundation, he played an active role in feeding the needy and supporting vulnerable populations, particularly during hardship.

The foundation has served as a platform for youth advocacy, community support, and social responsibility, reflecting Olalekan Jiboku’s belief in giving back to society.

His humanitarian activities have earned him respect among beneficiaries and admirers who view him as a leader with a genuine concern for people’s welfare.
