Nigerians have been called upon to work together in unity as they expect the new things that God has in store for them this new year.
The President, Ogun Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Adeyinka Samuel Ogunseitan made the call in his New Year message.
Pastor Ogunseitan, who reminded the people of God’s promise in the book of Isaiah 43 verse 19, to do a new thing, emphasized the need for all to deepen their faith in God in order to experience Divine Providence in the new year.
The Ogun Conference President of Seventh-day Adventist Church also charged Christians to be rooted in the Scripture and be focused on spreading the Gospel as they journey through the year.
“In this new year, let us commit ourselves to the solid rock of God’s Word. Let us stay rooted in His truth, and remain faithful to our mission, spreading the Three Angels Message with renewed zeal.”, the Adventist Clergyman charges.
While acknowledging God’s faithfulness in the last year, Pastor Ogunseitan urged the people to look back with gratitude and move forward with a renewed sense of divine purpose.
