The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, NTA Abeokuta State chapel has expressed profound appreciation to Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on the appointment of former Permanent Secretary Bureau of Political Affairs and Administration Mr Kehinde Onasanya as the new Head of Civil Service in the gateway State.
The union in a statement by the Chairman of the chapel Comrade Yemmy Dalemo and Secretary Comrade Luqman Adefeso described the appointment of Kehinde Onasanya among other season administrators in the state as a well deserved appointment.
The statement appreciates the Governor for choosing a Journalist of extraordinary qualities, Public Relations expert and Orator to direct the affairs of the state civil service with his wealth of experience
NUJ recalled the exemplary qualities of the new head of Service and his various efforts in ensuring that Journalists have freedom of information and discharge their duties without any hindrance in the state.
“Onasanya who had served in various capacities within the field of journalism and administration with his commitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and unquenchable thirst for service delivery is definitely going to make remarkable impact in the Ogun State Civil Service”
The Union rejoice with the New Head of Service appreciating his support for members of the chapel in the discharge of their responsibility and his various encouragement and commitment toward giving ‘us needed enablement in discharging our duties”.
While congratulating Mr Kehinde Onasanya on this deserving appointment we pray God to give you all the needed enablement to surpass all your predecessors in office.
NUJ NTA Chapel also urged the peoples Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to consider appointing seasoned Journalists in position of authority in the state assuring that Journalists would not disappoint him in any way.
